The Problem

A federal building was experiencing problems with their terazzo floors not looking clean and losing their shine from the embedded marble in the concrete. Even after frequent moppings and scrubbing and attempts from maintenance to clean the floors internally was unsuccessful.

L&J Building Maintenance Solution

L&J Management drove out-of-state to federal building location to review and inspect the floors. After a thorough evaluation with maintenance and examining the terazzo floor condition, L&J was hired to strip and clean all waxes, sealers, dirt and grime from the floors. The floor imperfections were not deep enough to consider floor replacement and repolishing the terazzo floor surface was completed once cleaning the surface had been finished.

Customer Response

After a months work in repairing and repolishing the terazzo floors, the customer couldn’t believe the results and was impressed that the floors shine and clean appearance resembled its original form.
